Junior First Responder Academy
If you would like to sponsor a student for the Junior First Responder Academy, you can sponsor them using the button below. The average cost per student is roughly $150 for the week, No student has ever been charged $150. The average cost for each student is $40, thanks to fundraising, sponsors, and grants!
In this week long academy created by the members of Grant Town VFD and Grant Town EMS, participants will gain knowledge of firefighting tactics, vehicle extraction, EMS operations and law enforcement practices. They will also become certified in CPR, First Aid and AED.
Our academy is open to any adolescent going into grades 7th-12th.
Application deadline: June 2, 2026.
DATE: June 22 - 27, 2026
Graduation: June 27th
TIME: 9AM - 5PM
COST: TBD based on sponsorships, grants, and fundraising.
(includes: t-shirt, hat, water bottle, breakfast and lunch, CPR & First Aid certifications, and other necessary supplies)
